The main aim of How does our garden grow? was to see if any plant types existing today on the site of the Friern Manor Farm Estate also grew there when it was a dairy farm in the 19th century, before being sold in 1865. And so a citizen science project was launched to record wildflowers and trees during May and June 2024.
